Job vacancy HR Manager

The client works with in the transportation services industry and is a 90% blue collar workforce, this role is a huge scope opportunity for a HR Manager who wants to grow with an expanding business.

The Key responsibilities will include:

Implementing the HR policy's and procedures, assisting with the implementation of a HR System and building the framework of HR.

Talent Acquisition and Retention: Lead the recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, and on boarding top talent. Develop retention strategies to ensure employee engagement and longevity.

HR Operations: Manage day-to-day HR operations, including payroll processing, benefits administration, and HRIS management. Streamline processes and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness

Managing the HR function with a total of 2 direct reports, reporting into the board

Compensation and Benefits: Oversee the development and administration of competitive compensation and benefits programs. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Budget Management: Develop and manage the HR budget, including forecasting and monitoring expenditures.

Leadership and Team Development: Build and mentor a high-performing HR team. Provide guidance, support, and professional development opportunities to team members.

The Successful candidate will have/be:

 

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of five years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a senior leadership role.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
