Job vacancy Senior Specialist - Equities

Our client is a prominent financial institution based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, with a focus on promoting sustainable development and fostering economic growth globally.

As a Senior Specialist your key responsibilities would be:

• Lead the valuation analysis on a wide range of target investment opportunities using accepted and relevant approaches
• Design financial models for discounted cash flow, market multiple, market transaction and analyses
• Prepare analyses, comparisons, estimates and forecasts related to key financial matters like investment decisions, cash management, expense budgeting, etc. based on the research on industry standards, benchmarks and trends for performance measurement
• Analyse financial data and performance indicators to determine past financial performance and/or project financial probability and assist in the development of financial reports
• Develop long term financial projections, considering alternative scenarios and economic prospects as appropriate
• Manage Fund's equity investments portfolio to ensure both liquidity and profit availability
• Review Fund's strategy to develop a solid understanding of the broader investment, settlement and risk management issues, and strategies of the Fund.

The Successful Applicant:

• 7 - 10 years of experience within a similar organisation/asset manager with strong proficiency in financial analysis, valuation techniques and financial modelling.
• A Bachelor's degree in Finance is required, with a Master's degree in Finance preferred.
• Candidates with professional certifications such as CFA, CMA, or equivalent will be highly regarded.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• A solid understanding of market trends, risks, and investment strategies is essential.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial concepts to diverse stakeholders.
• Fluency in English.
