The client, based in Abu Dhabi, is one of the region's top Investment companies. They engage in multiple asset classes, Capital Markets, Private Equity, Venture Capital, Private Credit and more across multiple sectors globally.




  • Tax Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement effective tax strategies aligned with the investment firm's financial goals and objectives. Proactively identify tax planning opportunities and provide guidance to optimize the firm's tax position.


  • Tax Compliance: Oversee all tax compliance matters for the organization, including but not limited to corporate income tax, capital gains tax, withholding tax, and indirect taxes. Ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns and other relevant documentation.


  • Risk Management: Assess potential tax risks and exposures related to the firm's investment activities and develop strategies to mitigate those risks. Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations that may impact the organization.


  • Investment Structuring: Collaborate with the investment team to evaluate and structure investment opportunities in a tax-efficient manner. Advise on the tax implications of various investment structures and exit strategies.


  • Transfer Pricing: Manage transfer pricing policies and documentation, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and arm's length principles.


  • International Tax: Navigate the complexities of international tax matters, including cross-border transactions, double taxation treaties, and foreign tax credits.

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field. Advanced degrees and professional certifications are highly desirable.
  • Extensive experience (typically 12-18 years) in tax management within the financial services or investment industry, with a strong focus on complex tax matters.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of relevant tax laws, regulations, and reporting requirements, with a focus on the USA
  • Proven track record in developing and executing tax strategies to optimize financial performance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and communicate complex tax issues to non-tax professionals.
  • Excellent leadership abilities with a demonstrated history of effectively managing and motivating a team.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with various stakeholders.
  • High ethical standards and a commitment to maintaining the highest levels of integrity in all tax-related activities.
