Job vacancy IT Governance Specialist

Well - established and highly successful organisation in Abu Dhabi, competing at an international scale, looking for an experienced IT Governance professional to join their dynamic team.

• Develop and deploy IT governance strategies and frameworks, such as trust resilience framework and decision-making authority framework.
• Lead the creation, implementation, and maintenance of policies, procedures, and standards to ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to industry best practices, including certifications like ITIL, TOGAF, COBIT, ISO, etc.
• Offer guidance and assistance to senior management and stakeholders regarding IT governance issues, including risk management, compliance, and performance monitoring.
• Assess and audit existing IT governance processes and controls to gauge effectiveness, and propose enhancements.
• Collaborate with various teams to integrate IT governance principles seamlessly into business processes and decision-making.
• Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in IT governance, and adjust strategies and frameworks accordingly.
• Act as a subject matter expert on IT governance matters, providing training and awareness initiatives to promote organizational understanding and adoption

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Must have certifications relevant to IT governance such as ITIL, TOGAF, COBIT, ISO, etc.
• 8 - 12 years of experience in IT governance, risk management, and compliance.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
