Job vacancy Accounting Manager

Our client is a MNC Retail Group, hiring a managerial position in the Accounting team, for their offices in Dubai.

• Oversee month end closure and GL, ensuring accuracy, completeness, timeliness and compliance with policies, standards (i.e., IFRS).
• Supervise AP and AR processes end-to-end.
• Manage the treasury and cash flow for the region including monthly reporting and reconciliation.
• Supervise tax matters, i.e., VAT / WHT declarations and manage CIT project whilst ensuring compliance with guidelines set out by tax authorities.
• Ensure compliance with local, regional, and international accounting standards and regulations.
• Support audit cycles (internal and external), providing necessary documentation and information for all entities.
• Monitor and analyse accounting and other financial processes, creating a culture of continuous improvement to minimise costs and other inefficiencies.
• Manage and maintain business relationships with local and regional stakeholders such as auditors, advisors, other store teams etc.
• Lead and mentor a team of AR, AP and Treasury professionals.

• Graduate qualification in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is a MUST (Postgraduate degree or other professional qualifications i.e., ACCA,CA, CMA is a huge advantage)
• Professional proficiency in Arabic is a MUST.
• Track record of managing teams at MNC retail firms is a huge advantage
